If you’re shopping for a new Porsche car, you’ll have several to pick from. Let’s get to know two new Porsche cars and what they have to offer

2022 Porsche Taycan

If you’re ready for a luxury electric vehicle, the Porsche Taycan won’t disappoint. It comes with a motor and a 79-kWh lithium-ion battery that combine to generate up to 402 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque.

The top powertrain has two electric motors and a 93-kWh battery that produce up to 750 horsepower and 774 lb-ft of torque. This sportscar has outstanding acceleration, and the speediest configuration can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds.

With a fully charged battery, the Porsche Taycan has a driving range of 200 miles. That increases to 225 miles with the larger battery. One of the really nice things about this EV is that you can charge it up at your home.

With a 240-volt power outlet, it takes about 10 hours to have it juiced up. A Level 3 charging station will get you up to an 80-percent charge in around 1.5 hours.

2023 Porsche Macan

The Porsche Macan comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine that pumps out 261 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. There are two other engine options:

• Twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6: 375 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque
• Twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6: 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque

This SUV has fantastic acceleration, and that 434-horsepower engine will get you from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. The Porsche Macan comes with many advanced tech features, including a Wi-Fi hot spot, four USB ports, and satellite radio.
